Exam note: हिंदी (Second Language). Class IX is a school examination: CISCE says the Class IX final examination is conducted internally by schools, set on the texts prescribed for Class IX. The ICSE 2028 syllabus gives one 80-mark paper of three hours: Section A (Language, 40 marks, compulsory) and Section B (Prescribed Texts, 40 marks: four questions from ONLY two of the prescribed books), plus 20 marks of assignments assessed in school.
