Improve in May
For CBSE Class 10 students who want to raise their marks in the May board exam. What CBSE has said:
- Class 10 has two CBSE board exams a year from 2026. The first, from mid-February, is compulsory; the second, in May, is optional.
- In the second exam a student can try to improve up to three subjects out of Science, Mathematics, Social Science and the languages.
- Both exams cover the full syllabus in the same pattern, and the better of the two performances counts.
Sources: CBSE press release, 25 June 2025 and CBSE press release, 18 July 2026. The 2027 dates were not published when we last checked (13 October 2026).
After the February exam, your child picks up to three subjects and, if they like, adds their marks. QuestionBuddy builds a day-by-day plan to the May exam from the board blueprint, how often past board papers asked each chapter, and their own open mistakes, and says why each chapter comes where it does. Every week there is a full paper in My board paper. The planner is free for everyone; Answer Coach marking uses the child's normal monthly allowance, and the Exam Pass for CBSE Class 10 runs to 31 May to cover it.
Frequently asked questions
I have two or three children. What should I buy?
Each child has their own plan, so buy one Year Plan for each child who needs more marking. Every child also keeps the Free plan if they are not on a paid one, and each child can be in a different class or board.
What happens next year?
Nothing happens by itself: there is no auto-renew and we never charge you again. When your child moves up a class, or within 30 days of the plan ending, you can renew for one child for ₹1,499. Practice history, mistakes and marks carry over to the new class, and stay even if you go back to Free.
Are ICSE and ISC included?
Yes. Every plan covers CBSE, ICSE and ISC at the same price: the Year and renewal plans for Classes 8 to 12, and the Exam Pass for the board-exam classes (ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 too). If your child changes board, their plan and history move with them.
What does "answers marked" mean?
Each written answer the Answer Coach marks step by step counts as one. A full board paper has 15 to 20 written answers, so marking a whole paper uses about 18. Marking an answer yourself against the marking points never counts. Allowances are per child and reset on the 1st of every month.
What if my child uses up the month’s allowance?
They can keep practising, use hints, mark their own answers against the marking points and retest their mistakes. Only Answer Coach marking (and full papers on Free) waits until the 1st of the next month.
What happens to our data if we stop paying or ask for a refund?
Nothing is deleted. The plan simply ends and your children go back to the Free plan with all their history. You can download or delete your data at any time from the parent dashboard.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Ask within 7 days of paying, from the parent dashboard or by email, and you get the full amount back, GST included. No reason needed.
Will anyone call me to sell a plan?
No. We do not make sales calls. Everything you need to decide is on this page.
