Exam note: Class XI is a school examination: CISCE says the Class XI final examination is conducted internally by schools. The ISC 2028 syllabus sets Paper I (Theory) at 70 marks and 3 hours, with unit weightage Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics and Laws of Motion 23; Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body and Gravitation 17; Properties of Bulk Matter, Heat and Thermodynamics and Kinetic Theory 20; Oscillations and Waves 10. Paper II (Practical, 3 hours) carries 15 marks, project work 10 and practical file 5. CISCE publishes no Class XI question-paper layout.
