Exam note: From ISC 2028 CISCE lists "Business Studies (previously known as Commerce)", subject code 857 (the old Commerce code). Class XI is a school examination: CISCE says the Class XI final examination is conducted internally by schools. The ISC 2028 syllabus sets Paper I (Theory) at 80 marks and 3 hours, with unit weightage Business: Purpose and Classification 10, Forms and Types of Business Organisation 30, Contemporary and Evolving Modes of Business 15, Domestic Trade 10, Business Risks and Insurance 15; Paper II (Project Work) carries 20 marks. CISCE publishes no Class XI question-paper layout.
