a) Autocratic (authoritarian) leadership: The leader gives orders and expects obedience; it works where production must be achieved on time and allows quick decisions.

b) Laissez faire (free-rein) leadership: The leader uses power only when essential; followers have high independence to set their own objectives and methods, and the manager only supports them with information.
Answer: Autocratic: the leader commands and decides alone. Laissez faire: followers enjoy wide freedom and the leader only supports.
