    1 mark
  2. Body (about 120 words):

I am Vaibhav, in-charge of the Ecology Club of our school. I write to stress the importance of ecological awareness and to propose Eco-Clubs in the rural schools around our city.

Ecological awareness protects natural resources and builds responsible habits in children early. Deforestation, pollution and loss of biodiversity need collective action.

Eco-Clubs in rural schools would involve students in tree plantations, cleanliness drives and awareness campaigns. They would also shape environmentally conscious citizens.

I request the Education Department to give resources, funding and guidance to set up and run these clubs. Collaboration with NGOs and environmental organisations would add strength.

I hope you will consider this proposal favourably.

    Yours faithfully,
    Vaibhav
