Answer: Article: 'Save Every Drop' by Devina.
Water is the basis of life, yet India faces a growing water crisis. Over-extraction of groundwater, wastage, polluted rivers and poor planning have worsened scarcity, and many regions face shortages every summer.
Simple steps can help. Rainwater harvesting, prompt repair of leaking taps and reuse of water at home save thousands of litres. Individuals must use water wisely, communities can organise conservation drives and clean local ponds, and schools can spread awareness.
The government must enforce strict laws against polluting rivers and lakes, and must plan better. If we act today, we secure water for tomorrow.
