The given bar graph shows the increasing use of skin care products by men and women over the period of three months. Write an analytical paragraph elaborating the given information in about 100 words.

  1. Content (2 marks) and organisation (2 marks): The bar graph compares the use of facewash, toner and sunscreen by men and women from June to August.

    Among men, facewash was used 33 times in June, fell to 31 in July and rose to 35 in August. Toner use fell from 25 to 20 and then recovered to 22. Sunscreen use dipped from 27 to 25 and then jumped to 33.

    Among women, sunscreen was the most used product, going from 33 to 29 and then to 35. Facewash use declined slightly from 25 to 23, while toner rose from 23 to 25 and stayed there.

  2. Conclusion and accuracy (1 mark): Overall, sunscreen and facewash were the most popular products, and use rose in August for both groups. Men use facewash more, while women prefer sunscreen.
